Beneficiary Guidelines

Practical guidance for using the portal and responding to documentation requests.

Protecting your access

  • Use a unique password that you do not use on any other service.
  • Enable two-factor authentication in Account Settings for stronger protection.
  • Never share your password, one-time codes or recovery codes with anyone — including someone who claims to be from support.
  • Sign out when you finish, especially on a shared or public computer.

Submitting documents

  • Upload only the document that was requested, and make sure every page is legible.
  • Accepted formats are PDF, JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and plain text, up to the size shown on the upload form.
  • Do not upload screenshots that crop out the document edges, and do not photograph documents at an angle.
  • Where a document has an expiry date, upload a currently valid version.

Responding to requests

  • Check the Document Center after you receive a notification.
  • Read the reviewer feedback attached to a rejected document before resubmitting.
  • If a request is unclear, ask through the secure message thread rather than guessing.
  • Keep your contact details current so notifications reach you.

Recognising a fraudulent request

  • This portal will never ask for your online banking password, PIN or one-time banking code.
  • This portal will never ask you to pay a fee in order to release a disbursement.
  • This portal will never ask you to move funds to a "safe account".
  • If you receive such a request, do not respond. Report it using the contact details published on this site.

Quick reference

Please do

  • Keep your beneficiary profile accurate and up to date.
  • Respond to documentation requests within the timeframe given.
  • Read status updates carefully — they explain whether an action is required.
  • Use the secure message thread so your question stays with your record.

Please do not

  • Do not share your account credentials with anyone.
  • Do not upload documents belonging to another person.
  • Do not submit altered or fabricated documents.
  • Do not rely on unofficial sources for information about your record.

If something looks wrong

If a record appears incorrect, a document was rejected and you disagree, or you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation, contact support operated by Meridian Asset Administration Services immediately. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password from Account Settings first, then report it.
